Joe grew up with motor racing playing a massive role in his life, and almost inevitably, this was the path he would always choose to follow. With knowledge learnt from his father early on in life, Joe successfully finished college and undertook an apprenticeship as an engineer. At the age of 18 Joe's passion and aptitude for motorsport secured him a position at Palmersport, and Joe began work as a technician for corporate entertainment fleet, Motorsport Sensation. A successful venture of ex F1 racer Jonathon Palmer.

Joe's relentless drive and ambition, along with his dedication and passion, shone through resulting in three successive promotions. By the age of 22, Joe had risen from Technician to Chief Mechanic in only three years.

His career kept him close to motorsport, but Joe's true passion still lay in the area in which he had shown outstanding talent and natural ability. His passion, quite simply, was to drive.
