In 1998, with the continued unwavering support of his family, Joe went on to win the Ministox World Championship. Joe has rapidly climbed the ladder to the higher echelons of motorsport, and has won not only raced, but Championships in every series in which he has competed. These outstanding achievements include a race win on his very first single seater outing following the jump from 70hp front wheel drive mini's to 350hp rear wheel drive race cars.
